Read Early to Advance Development in Nigeria Initiative is a Non-Governmental Organization set to meet the rights, needs and aspirations of children, youths and adults by promoting access to equitable, qualitative and social services for all through blended teaching and learning approaches. It will reduce LEARNING POVERTY by promoting reading aloud through physical and digital approaches. Empirical findings revealed that reading is a foundational skill that is required by all children to build fundamental skills. Reading aloud is one of the most important things parents and teachers can do with children. Reading aloud builds many important foundational skills, introduces vocabulary, provides a model of fluent, expressive reading, and helps children recognize what reading for pleasure is all about.

Read Early to Advance Development in Nigeria Initiative will also bring education to the door steps of all young and adult learners through different physical and electronic learning and teaching platforms. It will promote Education in Emergency (EiE), preparedness and responses to epidemics.

It will promote e-extension services to reach all and target vulnerable communities through the use of different electronic technologies to enhance face-to-face (f2f) and paper-based transactions. READING initiative will build, develop and deploy the resources required for e-Learning, e-Farming, e-Climate Change Education, e-Trading among others for human development. Read Early to Advance Development in Nigeria Initiative will promote growth and sustainable development through capacity building, service delivery, advocacy, policy reforms and technical services in Humanitarian, Early Recovery, Development and Peace Building Contexts.
